‘Looking for a book on X’

Do you guys know any books which deal extensively with the concept of the fundamental fantasy (or, just fantasy, for that matter)?

This guy has another book called The Surface Effect that’s all about fantasy, but I can’t find a pdf anywhere. The cheapest place I found it was on Google Books to ‘rent’ for like twenty bucks. This book has a couple chapters that deal with fantasy and how it relates to technology and our interactions with the world through it. I hope someone else comes up with something better!
