MULTILINGUALISM: German Club
What’s the point of always having a multilingualism segment in the HUB event? Because language is social, and language-learning is social, whereas monolingualism is anti-social. We are rewiring our brains through immersion exercises that do deep dives into essential and primary texts in their original languages, starting with Spanish, French, and German.

TU FILM CLUB FORUM
A monthly movie night + some special events. Stay tuned for some guest lectures on film analysis. As the title says, this whole approach to film is going to be largely Žižekian, thought of course we’re all mediocre renaissance dudes so we’ll get to bring in a variety of theoretical standpoints.

TU WRITER’S WORKSHOP | Publishing Cohorts Central
This is (for those who are early, regular, and serious) a free group dedicated to making us better thinkers and communicators via writing.
- We aim to do exegetical readings of Aristotle’s Rhetoric, Christopher Lasch’s little book on how to write, Orwell’s essay on good writing, + a lot of other fire ass shit, including how to write like a CRRU schizo. We will learn how to do both esoteric and exoteric writing (Strauss).
